No. Vornado previously recalled only those SRTH small room tower heaters with a “JUL22” date code because those heaters have a miswiring due to a manufacturing error which can cause the tower heater to overheat, posing a fire hazard. This recall covers all SRTH heaters, regardless of date code.
The recalled heater’s fan blade can detach from the motor shaft, which can cause a slow or stopped fan condition, leading to overheating and melting of the enclosure and internal parts. Melted internal parts can ignite and breach the enclosure if the thermal cut off fuse does not timely activate, posing a fire hazard. All SRTH small room tower heaters, regardless of date code, are included in this current recall.
